BrewCrew drops 5 Straight to Finish 1-5 in First Full Week in MLB

After Opening the season with a thrilling victory, the BrewCrew has dropped every game since.  The bats finally came alive on Tuesday night versus the Athletics.  Led by Chris Sanderson's 2 Homeruns the offense posted 6 runs.  Unfortunately, the Brewers pitching let the team down in that one, allowing 8 runs including 3 in the bottom of the 8th Inning.  The Crew was back to its light hitting selves on Wednesday, as they made Mike Pelfrey look like a Cy Young candidate for the Seattle Mariners in a 5-1 Loss at Miller Park.

Now that we are a week into the season we can get a better feel for the way the team is shaping up.  Here's  a look at Whos Hot and Whos Not:

Hot:
Chris Sanderson - .292  3 HR 6 RBI

Not:
Shawn Kelly - .000 Avg*
Ian Sumner - .000 Avg

* To make matters worse for Kell, his younger Brother "Joe" Ryan Kelly smacked a HR in his first at-bat of the year on Tuesday night, and was heard coming back to the dugout yelling, "There is that so hard??"

The BrewCrew is faced with the tall task of turning things around here in a short season. " We understand we had a rough week, but we gotta do what we can to forget about it and finish the season strong.  Guys are coming around with the bats, we just gotta put a complete game together" Said SS Bob Bixby.  The Brew Crew will get its next chance as Ryan Baker takes on the Texas Rangers in Arlington.
